Monthly Archives: March 2016

Tweet of the Day…

Easter holidays equals writing and debating …and writing, refining, researching, citing, rewriting, …and writing, laughing hysterically… panicking about time and writing again.

Result = Introduction completed and Chapter 1 well on its way.

Really impressed with @amltaylor66 interpretation of the LearningWheel and the depth she is adding from a wider perspective.

Thanks to John Rylands library and TAKK coffee bar for refreshment and inspiration.

1 of 50 most influential FE and skills professionals on social media

On March 2016… I was honoured to be nominated and awarded one of Jisc’s most influential FE and skills professionals on social media.

After being showcased in the TES (previously Times Education Supplement) prior to the final Top 50 being published, I found my Twitter mentions increasing and featuring on the #Jisc50Social hashtag with some impressive edtech innovators such as @dianatremayne,  @YFouda,  @clyn40,  @reddyplumbing,  and  @MrsSarahSimons of  @theukfechat

My response… So   & to those who nominated me

This wonderful recognition would not have been possible without you, my wonderful LearningWheel community and those who nominated me. May I take this opportunity (on my new blog) to thank each and every one of you.
